C.C. Sabathia did not pitch dominant, but he did pitch well enough to earn a win in his debut for the Milwaukee Brewers. Sabathia pitched 6 innings allowing 5 hits, 3 runs (2 earned) and 5 walks while striking out 5 and the Brewers went on to beat the Colorado Rockies 7-3 Tuesday night. Milwaukee gave their new starter a pleasant welcoming as they managed 3 runs in the first inning, and after the Rockies came within one run in the 6th inning, they added 3 more runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to ensure Sabathia's first win as a Brewer. Ryan Brain homered for Milwaukee as it was his 22nd of the year, a 3 run shot off Mark Redman. Rickie Weeks had 3 hits for the Brewers and and Bill Hall added 2 RBI's as the team managed 8 hits. The Brewers got great relief from their bullpen as they allowed only 1 hit through 3 innings of work to close it out for Milwaukee.
