Manny Ramirez hit his 17th home run of the year to tie the game at 5, and after Kevin Youkilis doubled, Brandon Moss drove him in on what would be the winning run. Jonathan Papelbon was able to escape a 9th inning threat and pick up his 27th save of the season. Five Twins players had 2 hits apeice and 4 of them had a RBI. Matt Guerrier suffered the loss as he allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in only one inning of work.
