Yankees 8 Twins 2

The Minnesota Twins caught the New York Yankees at the wrong time, as they fell to the second night in a row. The Yankees rallied from a 2-1 deficit to beat the Twins 8-2 Tuesday night.  Kevin Slowey took the loss as he allowed 4 runs, 5 hits and 2 walks through 5 1/3rd innings of work.  New York made sure they would not let the lead slip away as they added 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to capp off the comeback.  Minnesota managed just 5 hits and were completely shut down by the Yankees bullpen.  Minnesota will look to avoid a sweep and snap a 3 game losing streak when they take on the Yankees in the series finale on Wednesday.
