Mets suffer heartbreaker

The New York Mets got a great performance from their ace Johan Santana, and with a 5-2 lead he turned it over to his bullpen.  Things quickly went wrong for the Mets as they watched the Philadelphia Phillies put up 6 runs and come from behind to win 8-6.  Three Met's relievers combined in giving up the six Phillies runs as both So Taguchi and Jimmy Rollins had two RBI doubles.  Santana pitched 8 innings allowing 8 hits and 2 runs while striking out 4. New York seemed to be in control and they were for the most part, as Carlos Delgado and Ramon Castro homered for the Mets.  The loss put the Mets one game behind the Phillies in the NL East as the division rivals will play the 3nd game of this big series Wednesday night.
