There's crunch time, then there's CRUNCH time. The first offers a little wiggle room. The second, well, I think you know. Unfortunately for the New York Yankees, they find themselves in the capitalized crunch time. Currently 10 games behind division leaders Tampa Bay, and 5 1/2 behind wild card leaders Boston Red Sox, The Yankees need a lot of things to fall in place for them to see postseason games. Number one on that list is to bring their bats to the game. With 38 games left in their season, they need to start hitting like they did last Sunday against the KC Royals. They won that match 15-6, after a meager 6 runs in the two prior games combined. They need to start hitting consistently and accurately if they want to dirty up the uniforms in October. So in summation, that's 38 games left...10 games to make up...9 hitters to decide the outcome.
