The San Diego Padres had a 3-0 lead disappear Tuesday night as they eventually fell 4-3 to the Cincinnati Reds. San Diego managed a 3 run third inning as they got big two out hits from Brian Giles and Adrian Gonzalez. Padres starter Jake Peavy seemed to be cruising until the bottom of the 6th inning, when with two outs the Reds got two gift hits that would tie the game at 3. After both teams failed to score in the next couple of innings, Cincinnati was able to complete the comeback as Jeff Keppinger hit a game winning RBI double with one out in the bottom of the 11th. The Padres managed just 6 hits on the night and struck out 18 times as a team. Bryan Corey took the loss as he gave up the winning hit ti Keppinger. San Diego will look to take the rubber match Wednesday.
