Albert Pujols suffered a leg injury Tuesday night, as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Cincinnati Reds 7-2 Tuesday night. The injury is being called a strained left calf, which took place in the 7th inning while Pujols was running out a grounder. Pujols homered earlier in the game and Ryan Ludwick drove in four. Ludwick had 4 hits on the night, including his 15th home run of the season, as he continues to swing a hot bat. Mitchell Boggs pitched effective enough to get the win in his first major league start. The Cardinals rookie lasted 5 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 walks and 2 earned runs. St. Louis got 4 scoreless innings from their bullpen as it was their third win in a row.
