Ludwick lifts Cardinals in 11th

Ryan Ludwick hit a game winning 2-run homer in the bottom of the 11th inning to lift the St. Louis Cardinals over the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4 Tuesday night. This came after the Dodgers rallied down four runs in the top of the 9th inning off of the St. Louis bullpen.  Ron Villone yielded a lead off homer to Andruw Jones and Jason Isringhausen allowed three runs which tied the game 4-4. The game featured a combined 26 hits, with 15 of them from the Cardinals. Albert Pujols hit is 22nd home run of the year as St. Louis was able to come away Tuesday night with the win.  The Cardinals will look to keep things going in the second game of this three game series which is Wednesday night.
