The Texas Rangers got a solid pitching performance from Matt Harrison as they beat the Los Angeles Angels 3-2 Tuesday night. Harrison got his 1st win in his Major League debut by pitching 7 innings allowing 5 hits and 2 runs while striking out 1. The youngster got help from his offense as they tied the game for Harrison in the 5th inning and gave him the lead he would not lose in the following inning. Josh Hamilton drove in 2 runs for Texas and Chris Davies added the other run for the Rangers with his 5th home run of the year. C.J. Wilson picked up his 22nd save of the year after he got Juan Rivera to ground out with the bases loaded in the top of the 9th inning.
