McGowan dominates Mariners

Dustin McGowan pitched a complete game Tuesday night, pushing the Toronto Blue Jays past the Seattle Mariners 3-1. McGowan went the distance allowing only 5 hits, 2 walks and 1 earned run, while striking out 7. Vernon Wells and Brad Wilkerson both went deep for Toronto, as they pulled ahead one game over 500. The Mariners continue to struggle as the offense was shut down throughout the game. The third game of the series takes place today as both teams have a win.
