In addition the Nationals had 2 costly errors which led to the only scoring of the game. Washington allowed only 4 hits and managed just 6 of their own but none of that mattered as they couldn't find a way to score against Arizona pitching. Perez was hit with the loss and is now 2-6 on the year. Brandon Webb picked up his MLB leading 13th win of the season.
