The Washington Nationals watched the San Francisco hit 2 first inning home runs in route to a 6-3 win Tuesday night. Jason Bergmann surrended a leadoff home run to Fred Lewis and a two run blast to Bengie Molina, who tagged Bergmann again in the 4th inning. Bergmann suffered the loss dropping to 1-7 on the year as he pitched 5 innings allowing 5 hits and 4 runs. Willie Harris hit his 7th home run of the year as both him and Paul Lo Duca had 2 hits apeice on the night and combined for 3 RBI. However the Nationals couldn't get anything going off the Giants bullpen. Washington will look to even the series when they take in the Giants Wednesday night.
