The Chicago White Sox is the Major League Baseball team playing in Chicago, Illinois; it is in the Central Division of the American League and is currently managed by Ozzie Guillén, who is the former team’s shortstop. The latter was expected to be the third in line for Chicago catching position. However, the trade of Chris Stewart makes it obvious that the team is satisfied with the current situation, especially after having signed 31-year old Toby Hall to a two-year deal beginning with the 2007 offseason to back up A.J. Pierzynski.
