The Banquet 400 is one of the Nextel Cup races of the NASCAR series. It takes place at Kansas Speedway track in Kansas City, Kansas. It is 400.5 mile race of 267 laps. The race is supported by the ConAgra Foods and got its name after one of its brands – the Banquet. The first race was held in 2001. Originally it was known as the Protection One 400. And only in 2003 the race got its current name the Banquet. During its still quite a short history the Banquet 400 produced a number of exciting and fascinating moments and captivating races. The last Banquet 400 race has been scored by an outstanding racing driver Tony Stewart.
