2008 Carfax 250 Race Information
The Carfax 250 is due to happen on the 16th of August at the Michigan International Speedway under the banner of Carfax. This race has already causing waves and it has not even taken place yet. Although this race started out as the 200 mile long one it was later converted to a 250 mile version.
With the Michigan International Speedway being roughly about 2 miles in length this race would have about 125 laps in all. This track is a moderate D shaped track that is located just near Brooklyn; it was also used as the basis for the Auto club speedway. more
One can even say that this track kind of exemplifies all that a track should be, neither too hard on the driver nor too easy on him. As it is, it has wide sweeping corners and should be all right to manage as long as the drivers can navigate the turns all right. It has a high banking of about 18 degrees and is one of the premier racing tracks in the country. All the races here are quire nice to watch especially to see all those cars fly past us at 200 mph.
