The Milwaukee 250 or the AT&T 250 as it is currently called is due to be held on the 21st of June this year at the Milwaukee Mile as this track is called. The state of Milk and Cheese is going to see some great action come the 21st and for a track that has been in usage for racing in one form or the other, it is back to business as usual.
The Milwaukee 250 is a part of the NASCAR series that has returned to Milwaukee in 1993. This series was held originally as 200 mile long but this was increased to 250 miles long from 1993 onwards. Although the race was held initially on Sunday afternoons, since 2004, it has been moved to Saturday nights and with the race being held under the lights, that just makes things quite entertaining for both the drivers as well as the spectators. With the track being just a mile long, that has made this race about 250 laps. With the track being reconfigured from that of a dirt track to that of a paved one, races have always been held here in one format or the other ever since 1903. That officially makes this track one of the oldest on the NASCAR series. With the shape being Oval and the banks being sharp, the race has proved to be quite as interesting as its counterparts in the NASCAR series. The current track plays host to other races as well, with this one due to be held on the 21st, maybe you should start thinking of getting your tickets at vividseats.com .
