This event remains at 300-distance was held at the California Speedway in Fontana, California some 65 kilometers away east of Los Angeles. This year's Stater Brothers 300 series winner is Math Kenseth, who has had four championship titles prior to his victory this year. Other NASCAR race drivers who have had their share of the limelight in the past 11 years are Todd Bodine, who earned the distinction of being the first ever State Brothers 300 winner, Dale Earnhardt, Hank Parker Jr., Scott Riggs, Gregg Biffle (two-time State Brothers 300 winner) and Mark Martin. Likewise joining the bunch in a series that raises adrenalin is former Indianapolis 500 winner and Formula One Star Juan Pablo Montoya, who is known in the car racing circle as a fast rising superstar in the field of stock car auto racing.
