2009 Miami Heat Highlights

Since their NBA Finals Championship in 2006, the Miami Heat have remained a dominating team in the Southeast Division. In each of the last three years, they have finished first in the division and they made it to the playoffs the last four straight years. Miami Heat tickets allow you to watch the amazing Dwyane Wade, who has become one of the best players in the league; in 2009 many people are even discussing him as an MVP candidate. This season, he has a .495 shooting percentage and continues to make clutch plays on a regular basis. He is clearly the leader on this team and he has been improving throughout the season. The big man in the middle, Jermaine O’Neal, has also been a major force on this team, bottling up the center of the court ever since he came from Toronto in the middle of February. But during the 2008-2009 season, the Heat have struggled in the division, due to the resurgence of Orlando and Atlanta. Despite this, the season looks like a playoff year for them. How far will they make it in the playoffs? It’s clearly going to be a challenging field in the Eastern Conference this year, but with Wade and O’Neal, the extra support of rookies Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers, and other players on the roster, the Heat will make a good case for themselves.
