Having finished the previous season with .439% (36 wins vs. 46 losses) the Orlando Magic (the Southeast Division of the National Basketball Association) are making more progress during the current season. According to the recent statistics updated on January 3, 2007, the Magic have 19 wins and only 14 losses, which constituted a steady .576%.
During the previous season, many changes were made to freshen up the look of the team, thus raising the results. Orlando acquired Darko Milicic and Carlos Arroyo from Detroit in exchange for Kelvin Cato and a 2007 first-round draft pick. Later, Steve Francis was traded away for Anfernee Hardaway and Trevor Ariza. With the help of new players, the team managed to improve their overall results, including the eight-game winning streak and 12 consecutive home wins.

Jameer Nelson alone added a season-high 29 points to the overall result, thus increasing the number of home victories for his team. Howard and Ariza added 14 points each to propel the victory.
