Washington Wizards Schedule for 2009

This is a team that has suffered injuries that highlighted the limited depth that the team has at the moment. After Gilbert Arenas was injured early in the season, Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison showed hustle and hard work in trying to lead this team throughout the season. This year, with Arenas back on the daily roster and Flip Saunders coming in to coach the team, the team has a good chance to play the best in the Eastern Conference during next year’s playoffs. With Detroit, Saunders got a lot of good experience working in a tough environment and coaching a playoff team. This team will almost certainly be much improved over last year, and with the extra experience that Butler and Jamison got last year, it’s going to be an exciting season for the Wizards.
