The preseason polls had Arizona in the top 25, but few predicted the kind of tear the Wildcats would go on in the months to follow. The program went on to be one of the last undefeated teams in Division I, winning their first 14 games of the season before a slim road loss at Oregon on Jan. 10 gave the squad its first blemish of the year.
