In less than a year’s time, the Barclays Center has turned into one of the most sought-after venues in the country, as nearly every major performer has booked a tour stop at the Brooklyn arena. But from March 14-17, NCAA basketball will take center stage at the Barclays Center when it plays host to the 2013 Atlantic 10 Tournament. In a break from recent years, when the event was held at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, the single-elimination showdown will make its grand debut in New York, complete with new members, Butler and VCU, who will be first-time competitors in the tournament, while it will be the last for Temple and Charlotte, which will be moving on to new conferences next year.
As with most end-of-the-year league tournaments, anything can happen, so don’t miss out on the chance to see the action in person with 2013 Atlantic 10 Tournament tickets on sale now at Vivid Seats. Fans can choose between securing passes for all sessions or pay per day, depending on your preferences. The last two tournaments featured first-time winners in Saint Bonaventure (2012) and Richmond (2011), and though all eyes will likely be on Butler and VCU, don’t count out Saint Louis or La Salle, who have just what it takes to make a late-season run.
