The winner of the East Regional will proceed to the Final Four, which is to take place on March 31 and April 2, 2007 at Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be hosted by Georgia Tech.The other three participants for the tournament will be selected according to the results of the South, West and Midwest Regional Championships, which are to take place in Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas; HP Pavilion in San Jose, California; and Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri respectively.

The Opening Round of Division I Mens Basketball Championship will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in UD Arena of Dayton, Ohio and will be hosted by the University of Dayton.
