2013 NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional Headed to Indianapolis
Before the 2013 Final Four can lift off at the Georgia Dome in April, there’s plenty of business to be settled in Indianapolis in the week prior, as Lucas Oil Stadium will be the site for the 2013 NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional. Hosted by the Horizon League and IUPUI, the regional rounds, taking place March 29 and 31, will mark the 18th time that Indianapolis has hosted an NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament event, and the third time that Indy has hosted a regional final. The last time was in 2009 when the Louisville Cardinals and Michigan State Spartans moved on to the Elite Eight.
In addition to regional events, the venue also hosted the 2010 NCAA Men’s Final Four, which saw Duke claim its fourth NCAA title against the hometown Butler Bulldogs, and it’s scheduled to host again in 2016. For now, fans can purchase NCAA Midwest Regional tickets for all sessions, or buy each individually from the Vivid Seats marketplace.
