Gophers NCAA Basketball

The mens basketball team of the University took part in 8 Big Ten Regular Season Championships in the years 1906, 1907, 1911, 1917, 1919, 1937, 1972 and 1982. As for the NCAA, the team posted 6 appearances, namely in 1972, 1982, 1989, 1990, 1999, and 2005. There was also an appearance in 1997, in which they reached the Final Four, however the participation of the team was cancelled because of the academic fraud.
