However, 2003 proved to be the Black Knights worst season. Having won not one game, the team, surprisingly, did not rank as the lowest team. In 2004, the team improved very little, finishing with a 2-9 record. The 2005 season has been the Knights best season, with a record of 4-7 and a rank of 86th out of 119. Both the 2006 and 2007 seasons ended with a 3-9 record. Army Black Knights coach Stan Brock hopes that this year his team will be able to improve upon their season records.
