The Sheraton Hawaii Bowl is a post-season NCAA college football bowl game that takes place every year on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve. The games are held at Aloha Stadium, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. They have been funded by Sheraton Hotels and Resorts Hawaii.
This Bowl has been played since 2002. It fields a team from C-USA or Pac-10 and a team from the WAC. Nevertheless, there is some kind of a "Hawaii guarantee", which gives the University of Hawaii the opportunity to compete for the Hawaii Bowl (from the WAC) in case it scores the required points to go bowling.
In 2006, a rival-team to the WAC's reresentative was chosen from the Pac-10. And only if none of the teams from the Pac-10 could meet the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl’s admittance requirements, C-USA would have an opportunity to feature one of its teams. Last year the Hawaii team at their home stadium gained the victory by 41 points to 24 over Arizona State.
This year a team from C-USA will bid for the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl against the one from the WCA. The final candidates haven’t been picked up yet. Different assumptions and opinions have been already put forward on which team may compete in this match, but still only final conference games will make the situation clear. The game will take place on December, 23, so keep informed not to miss an opporunity to get your Sheraton Hawaii Bowl tickets for this mesmerizing Christmas Eve’s game.
