2008 Purdue Boilermakers Season InformationThe Purdue Boilermakers are one of the teams in the Big Ten Conference. The Boilermakers are also one of the more talented teams in this specific conference. Throughout 1999-2007, the Boilermakers have lost no more than six games. In 1999, the team finished with a 7-5 record and a rank of 19th out of 114 teams. In 2000, the Boilermakers improved upon their previous record, winning eight of their twelve games. In 2001, the Boilermakers had an even record, winning six games and losing six games, giving the team a rank of 51st out of 117 teams. Again in 2002, Purdue improved its record from the previous season, ending with a 7-6 record. In 2003, the Purdue Boilermakers had their best season record since 1999. During the 2003 season, the team finished with a 9-4 record and ranked 18th out of 118 teams. In 2004, the Boilermakers did not improve, rather lost more games than they did in the previous season, winning only seven games. The 2005 season proved to be the teams’ worst season, winning only five games and losing six. In both 2006 and 2007, the Boilermakers won eight games and lost six games in 2006 and five games in 2007. |
