LSU Tigers Football Tickets

With July on the horizon, the time is just around the corner to secure your 2012 LSU tigers tickets, and it looks like they’re gearing to “geaux” for it all once again this year. Even considering the loss of standout players like CB Morris Claiborne and DT Michael Brockers to the NFL Draft, LSU fans can rest assured knowing that Coach Les Miles is sure to have this year’s squad looking primed to rise to the top of the SEC and battle it out for the number one spot in the nation.  After a humbling loss to Alabama in the wildly-hyped BCS National Championship Game in January, the Tigers are hungry to redeem themselves and put the loss behind them with a sharp start to the 2012 campaign.  

With the exit of former starting QB Jordan Jefferson to the NFL, Miles is depending on junior QB Zach Mettenberger to take the reins this fall. The promising, former Georgia quarterback hasn't played much in major college football, but seems to have the tools to succeed. Mettenberger will need to stay sharp, however, because redshirt freshmen Stephen Rivers and Jerrard Randall will be competing for the job as well. On the whole, the championship runners-up look great. With returning starters DL Sam Montgomery, DL Barkevious Mingo, and OT Josh Dworaczyk, combined with a LSU’s perpetually-deep squad and a solid 2012 recruiting class, the Tigers look ready to pounce.
