Full Home Slate, Soldier Field Contest on Tap for 2012 Miami Hurricanes

Fans traveling to South Beach will have plenty of opportunities to cheer on their 2012 Miami Hurricanes at home this year. Following back-to-back road games to open the season, the squad will return to Miami Gardens to host Bethune-Cookman (9/15) at Sun Life Stadium, before closing out the month with an ACC showdown against North Carolina State (9/29). Miami will then travel to Chicago to take on Notre Dame in a rare collegiate matchup at Soldier Field on Oct. 6. Three straight home games are scheduled to follow as the Hurricanes will battle conference rivals, North Carolina (10/13), Florida State (10/20), and Virginia Tech (11/1). The home finale will take place on Nov. 17 versus the BIG EAST’s South Florida. Vivid Seats’ inventory will be stocked all season long, so check back often for the Miami Hurricanes football tickets you desire.

Under the leadership of first-year head coach, Al Golden, the Hurricanes went 6-6, posting victories over Ohio State, Bethune-Cookman, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Duke, and USF. Unfortunately, Miami’s bowl game streak came to an end in 2011, as the program turned down a postseason bid. Prior to, the Hurricanes had competed in several of college football’s biggest events including the BCS Championship, Sugar Bowl, Rose Bowl, and Gator Bowl.
