2008 Navy Midshipmen Season Information
From 1999, the Navy Midshipmen have had not the best of seasons. Since their beginning, the Navy has always been an Independent Conference. In 1999, the Midshipmen ended their season with a 5-7 record. Unfortunately, this proved to be their best season for a few years. In 2000, the Midshipmen won a single game during the whole season. The 2001 season was even worse. In 2001 the team won zero games, giving them the lowest ranking. In 2002, the Navy Midshipmen improved slightly, finishing their season with a 2-10 record.

Thankfully, the 2003 season and seasons after have proved to be big successes for the Midshipmen. Since 2003, the team has won no less than 8 games. In 2003, the team finished with an 8-5 record. In 2004, the Midshipmen had their best season yet. The team won 10 games and lost only two. This gave them a ranking of 40th out of 119 teams. In 2005, the team concluded with an 8-4 season. The 2006 season also proved to be a success. The team won nine out of 13 games this being the team’s second best record and best rank of 47th out of 119. In 2007 the Midshipmen finished with an 8-5 record. For the 2008 season, the Navy Midshipmen have added a new head coach, Ken Niumatalolo. Come support your Navy Midshipmen!
