In 1999, the Midshipmen ended their season with a 5-7 record. Unfortunately, this proved to be their best season for a few years. In 2000, the Midshipmen won a single game during the whole season. The 2001 season was even worse. In 2001 the team won zero games, giving them the lowest ranking. In 2002, the Navy Midshipmen improved slightly, finishing their season with a 2-10 record.
