UNC football has a history of excellence on the field, and you can witness this year's squad on its quest for a bowl game berth when the Tar Heels host Pittsburgh Panthers Football at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill on 11/15/14.
Kenan Stadium Seating Information
Kenan Stadium seating starts with Section 100 on the Pitt sideline, and continues around the stadium in a counter-clockwise direction to Section 138 on UNC's side of the field. The next level of seating is the 200 level, which starts with Section 200 along the visitor's sideline and continues to Section 212 along the same sideline before jumping to Sections 219-231 along the UNC bench. Additional seating is available along the endzone opposite of the Kenan Football Center consisting of Sections 232-236 and is followed by boxes labeled 1-20. The Pope Box and Chancellors Box are located along the visitor's sideline while the Mezzanine is located behind the UNC sideline.
Kenan Stadium General Information
Alcohol is strictly prohibited at Kenan Stadium, and anyone violating the rule will be escorted from the venue. All homemade banners and signs must be approved beforehand and only small, personal cameras are permitted inside. Video cameras may only be used before the game and during halftime. No outside food and beverages will be allowed inside with the exception of one factory-sealed plastic water bottle. Additional prohibited items include backpacks, large bags, noisemakers, baby seats, balloons, coolers, containers, fireworks, drugs, lasers, strollers, umbrellas, and weapons. Everyone entering the venue is subject to search and security has the right discard any additional items deemed dangerous or harmful. Smoking is not permitted within 100 feet of any campus building, and re-entry is not permitted.
Kenan Stadium Parking Information
If you purchased a parking pass ahead of time to watch the Tar Heels take on Pitt, please refer to the pass for instructions on where to park. General public parking the day of the game is available for a fee in designated lots including the Cameron-Graham Lot, South Chiller Lot, PD-Cardinal Deck, Manning Lot, and Jackson Deck.
Tar Heel Express Shuttles typically run for those who wish to use the Park and Ride services available. Chapel Hill Transit will be operating shuttles from the lots, which include the Jones Ferry Road near University Lake, Friday Center Park, and Ride off NC 54, University Mall by Dillard's, Southern Village off US 15 and US 501. RV parking is available at the Friday Center Park and Ride Lot.
Kenan Stadium Tailgating Information
Tailgating is allowed on campus, but open flames and alcohol are strictly prohibited. Each vehicle must only take up one space, and all trash must be cleaned from the vicinity. An alternative for those who do not wish to participate in a traditional tailgate is Tar Heel Town, which usually kicks off 2.5 hours prior to the game with features like walking with the team, a kick-off show, hanging out with the Tar Heel mascot, giveaways, and other activities.

Kenan Stadium gates generally open 1-2 hours prior to the game for fans attending the UNC-Pittsburgh Panthers Football game.
Kenan Stadium Accessibility
Accessible parking is available for both day and night games for those with state disability permits or plates for a fee at the Ambulatory Care Lot. Shuttles will be available from the lots for those in need. If you are in need of accessible seating, please notify staff or supervisors upon arrival or purchase accessible seating tickets prior to heading to the venue.
