Ryan Field Seating Information

Ryan Field is divided into two levels, an upper and lower level. The upper level ranges from sections 223-235, and is located on the same side of the field as Northwestern's sideline. On the lower level, sections 122-136 are also along the Northwestern sideline. Sections 101-115 are on the visitor's sideline, while sections 116-121 are in the end zone.

Note that the student and young alumni sections are located in sections 132-136, and entry to these sections usually requires a valid student ID. The area set aside for visiting fans is in sections 101-103, including the lower half of section 104.

Ryan Field General Information

Small bags and personal cameras are allowed inside Ryan Field. The following items, however, are prohibited: umbrellas, noisemakers, banners, signs, flags, recording devices, and outside food and drink.

Ryan Field Parking Information

Two parking lots (east and west) are adjacent to Ryan Field, and these require a parking pass. Free parking is located on the lots around Northwestern's campus, and there may be street parking available around the stadium as well.

Shuttles are available to take Wildcats fans from on-campus lots to the stadium starting two hours before Northwestern vs. Illinois.

Ryan Field Tailgating Information

Lots typically open four hours before kickoff for tailgating, which is allowed in the east and west lots, as well as certain holes on the Frank Govern Memorial Golf Course. Certain on-campus lots may also allow tailgating before games.

Ryan Field gates open for Northwestern football games 90 minutes before kickoff.

Ryan Field Accessibility

At Ryan Field, ADA-compliant seating can be found in rows 1-4 of sections 107-109 and sections 128-130. There are also options available in rows 36-38 of section 126. Guest drop-offs are allowed near gate Q, and single-game accessible parking is located in the west parking lot.
