Launched a year ago featuring the Big 12's Oklahoma State versus the SEC's Mississippi State , the Texas Kickoff Classic will usher in a new set of teams for its sophomore installment. For 2014, the SEC's LSU Tigers will take on the Big Ten's Wisconsin Badgers inside NRG Stadium in Houston on Aug. 30. The schools have met only two other times previously and the Badgers will be seeking their first-ever win against LSU. The contest, which is set to take place in primetime, will be the first of the 2014 season for both teams.
