2011 Texas Football with Coach Mack Brown
For the last 12 years, Mack Brown has been patrolling the sidelines of Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium coaching the Texas Longhorns. In that time, Brown has enshrined himself into Longhorn folklore winning a National Championship, two Big 12 titles, and eight bowl victories. The 59-year-old head coach has an incredible coaching record of 133-34. Prior to his legendary run at the University of Texas in Austin, Brown had been coaching college football for 25 years. The Florida State running back had assistant coaching spells at Southern Miss, Memphis State, Iowa State, Louisiana State, and Oklahoma.
more The offensive-minded coach spent a year as the head coach at Appalachian State before spending three seasons running Tulane’s program and ten seasons at North Carolina. However, Brown will always be remembered for his success in Austin.
