The offense returns 10 starters—including quarterback David Ash—from a unit that put up a staggering 35.7 points per game. When Ash goes to the air, his main target will likely be senior wide receiver Mike Davis, a 6’2 speedster who racked up over 900 receiving yards and seven touchdowns a year ago. On the ground, the team will return its top four rushers, including Jonathan Gray and Joe Bergeron, who combined to gain over 1,200 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2012.
On defense, the team will bring back nine starting players, including relentless defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat and savvy cornerback Quandre Diggs, both of whom could be among the top players in the nation at their respective positions in 2013.
