For the first time since 1991, Texas Tech and Arkansas will meet on the gridiron when action unfolds inside Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas, on Sept. 13. Prior to the decades-long hiatus, the programs had squared off regularly throughout the 1970s and 80s, and over the course of the series, the Razorbacks have accrued a commanding 28-7 all-time advantage. However, it will be the Raiders that enter the contest as winners of the last two head-to-head clashes in 1990 and 1991. Additionally, this afternoon game will wrap up the non-conference portion of Texas Tech's schedule, while for Arkansas, it will be the team's second road test in the first three weeks to open the 2014 season.
