Scott Stadium Seating Information
Seating at Scott Stadium starts at Section 101, which is closest to the hillside along the visitor sideline, and runs around the stadium to Section 131 at the adjacent corner. There are a few boxes and smaller sections located throughout the 300-level, and the majority of the seating is in the 500-level from Sections 501-539. Student seating is located in Sections 501-503 and 101-105, and is available on the lawn to the north of the field as well. All students wishing to enter the game must provide a valid UVa student ID at the gate.
Scott Stadium General Information
To ensure the safety of all fans, alcohol is not permitted anywhere inside of Scott Stadium, and anyone found with it in their possession will be asked to leave the premises. In addition, the following items are banned as well: containers, umbrellas, food, beverages, noisemakers, coolers, glass bottles, video or audio recorders, and strollers. Fans are allowed to bring banners, flags and signs inside Scott Stadium, but they must not disturb other fans, be attached to the building, or cover any venue signage. Cameras will be allowed, but they must not have a professional lens and no flash photography will be tolerated. Guests are not allowed to re-enter the stadium once they have left the vicinity.
Scott Stadium Parking Information
On game day, there is plenty of parking available to those who are planning on driving to see the Cavaliers vs Miami. Parking at the UVA Emmet/Ivy Garage, Health System Parking Garage and Central Grounds Garage is available for a small fee, and all lots are located 10-15 minutes from the stadium. The University Hall/John Paul Jones Arena, North Grounds, The Park, and the Fontaine Research Park have free parking available, but it is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Downtown parking garages are also available for public parking for a small fee.
Scott Stadium Tailgating Information
Tailgating is a tradition at Virginia Cavaliers football games, but must be confined to the designated university parking lots. Charcoal grills or other open flames are not allowed for tailgating, but propane grills with a tank less than five pounds will be permitted. All of the lots will open at 8 a.m. and close at 12 a.m. following the game with restrooms available around the tailgating areas.
Scott Stadium Gate Times
All gates will typically open two hours before the game is scheduled to begin.
Scott Stadium Accessibility
The University of Virginia and Scott Stadium will accommodate all guests in attendance on game day. Accessible parking will be available at the Law School, and an ADA accessible shuttle will be in use to drop all guests at the entrance of Scott Stadium. There will be additional parking at the UVA parking lot located near The Park. Accessible seating is located throughout the venue, and anyone in need of special assistance should plan on making arrangements prior to attending the Virginia-Miami contest.
