Cincinnati Bengals 2007 Season Preview

In the new 2007 season the Cincinnati Bengals ate going to do its best to improve their scores. The Bengals welcomed LB Ed Hartwell and renewed the agreement with last year’s sack leader Robert Geathers. The players S Kevin Kaesviharn, CB Tory James, and WR Kelley Washington all left for other teams. The player WR Chris Henry will have to skip the first eight matches of the 2007 season due to his temporary exclusion from the league.

Luckily for the team, Carson Palmer had a recovery last season from an awful knee injury received in the playoffs in 2005-2006. If he manages not to get any other injuries during this season, he might lead the team to eventual success.

In 2006, the back Rudi Johnson played rather consistently running for 1369 yards on 341 carries. Although Johnson’s 3.8 ypc average leaves much to be desired, he became third in the NFL in carries and 7th in yards. Rudi is a promising back striving to increase his last year records.

Pro Bowl WR Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmanzadeh, who are currently playing for the Bengals, make a positive influence on the overall image of the team and will definitely help it stay ahead of many other teams this season. Although Henry will have to miss the games this time, the two are quite skilful and will surely make it to the top.
