For their 2014 season opener, the AFC South's Houston Texans will square off against the NFC East's Washington Redskins for just the fourth time overall and first since 2010. Set to take place during the afternoon of Sept. 7 at NRG Stadium, the Texans will look to make it two straight versus the Redskins, who prevailed in the first two meetings back in 2002 and 2006. Following the contest, Houston will spend the next two Sundays on the road before returning home in Week 4 to host Buffalo, while Washington will face Jacksonville for its home opener in Week 2.
