About the New England Patriots

The Patriots joined the AFL in 1970. New England had some very good teams between the mid 1970's and mid 1980's, reaching the postseason five times, culminating in a loss to the infamous '85 Bears in the Super Bowl. The Patriots stumbled in the late 1980's and early 1990's, but were led back to the playoffs in 1995 and 1996 behind head coach Bill Parcells. In 1996, the Patriots made it all the way to the Super Bowl behind Drew Bledsoe and Curtis Martin, but with a similar result, losing to the Packers 35-21.

The time has come for loyalty and devotion to the unstoppable New England Patriots. The three time Super Bowl champions are back for the 2006 NFL season and ready to win a fourth Super Bowl ring. Gillette stadium is empty and waiting for the legendary New England fans to stock up on their New England Patriots Tickets to witness Tom Brady in action once again. Patriots tickets are infamous for being completely sold out before the season begins, most likely because of the incredible triumphs of head coach Bill Belichick and the incredible performances given by the Patriots.

As most Patriots fans know, the team has not always been on top of their game. Although the 70's brought Heisman Trophy winner Jim Plunkett and head coach Chuck Fairbanks, the team just couldn't seem to achieve any post-season recognition. The New England Patriots had a rough road of exchanging players and coaches constantly until they could find the right match. The beginning of the 90s saw the club go through some huge personnel transfers when the owners, the Sullivan family, lost millions and were forced to sell the team to Victor Kiam. Even with all these changes, 1990 brought about the Patriots worst season ever with a finish of 1-15. Finally in the off season of '92-'93, the New England Patriots picked up Drew Bledsoe for quarterback and Patriot tickets sales finally started to pick up. 1996 brought the New England Patriots a trip to the Super Bowl that ended in defeat by the Green Bay Packers. Although the 2001 injury of Drew Bledsoe had New England Patriots fans scared of a replay of the 80s, it ended up bringing the team a miracle. Tom Brady took on the roll of quarterback and has since brought the Patriots three super bowls in four years. In 2004 Patriots broke the NFL all-time record for consecutive regular season wins with 18.

The 2006 New England Patriots have a younger and stronger roster with newcomers including receiver Reche Caldwell, cornerback Eric Warfield, safety Tebucky Jones, and kicker Martin Gramatica. With a new Patriot season ahead of us and the Patriots flying elvis ready for battle, Patriot tickets are going fast.
