The second edition of the International Champions Cup will once again be taking over major sports venues around the country in the latter half of summer. For 2014, that will include a contest at Denver's own Sports Authority Field at Mile High when Manchester United FC battles AS Roma on July 26. The contest will be the first for each respective squad for this year's installment.
Sports Authority Field at Mile High Seating Information
With a capacity in excess of 75,000, Sports Authority Field at Mile High will be well-equipped to accommodate the many soccer fans expected for the highly anticipated ICC match. Similar to that for Denver Broncos games, the venue layout will consist of three primary seating areas including the Main Concourse (100 sections), Club Level (300 sections), and Upper Concourse (500 sections). Note that Manchester United and AS Roma are expected to comprise the same sideline, likely near Sections 101-109, though this is subject to change.
Sports Authority Field at Mile High General Information
In general, most, if not all, of the same rules that are in place for NFL games also will be enforced during the International Champions Cup at Sports Authority Field. Typical prohibited items include signs and flags, alcohol, large bags and umbrellas, any kind of noisemaker, and outside food and drink except for a factory-sealed container with a non-alcoholic beverage. Sports Authority Field at Mile High Parking Information
There will be plenty of on-site parking available at the stadium for Manchester United vs AS Roma. Sports Authority Field at Mile High boasts over 6,000 parking spaces on its premises, and guests also can utilize the more than 10,000 available at nearby lots close by.
Sports Authority Field at Mile High Gate Times
Sports Authority Field at Mile High gates generally open two hours before the start of events, though this may change for a special event like the International Champions Cup.
