Experience two of Europe's top teams in action this summer at Fenway Park when AS Roma and Liverpool FC return to the historic Boston venue on July 23. The clubs last competed at Fenway in 2012 with AS Roma claiming a 2-1 win. In addition to serving as a rematch of sorts, the exhibition match also will come just one day before the start of the 2014 International Champions Cup, which will feature participation from both AS Roma and Liverpool though in different groups initially, but there is the potential that the clubs could meet in the tournament final should they win their respective pools.
Fenway Park Seating Information
The playing field for AS Roma vs Liverpool will be positioned from left field to right field, somewhat centrally located inside Fenway. Accordingly, most standard seating areas will be offered for the match, though quantities may be limited in certain sections such as the Green Monster and some of the clubs and suites near the press box. Check out the customized Fenway Park seating chart on this page for a visual representation of the expected layout for the matchup.
Fenway Park General Information
Fans may not bring hard-sided coolers, alcoholic beverages, noisemakers, cans, weapons, or large bags into Fenway Park. Cameras and video recorders are usually permitted as long as they do not obstruct the views of other guests. Smoking is prohibited in all areas, and re-entry also will not be permitted on July 23.
Fenway Park Parking Information
Limited parking is available in numerous lots and garages located within walking distance of the venue, but note that space may be limited. Fenway's official parking areas typically include the Clarendon Garage, Prudential Center #33, Fenway Garage, Lansdowne Garage, Kenmore Lot, and many others. If you choose not to drive, the park also is accessible via commuter rail, bus, or subway, which often presents more convenient options for guests attending Fenway Park events.
Fenway Park Gate Times
The gates of Fenway Park are scheduled to open precisely 90 minutes before the start of Liverpool FC vs. AS Roma on July 23 but this is subject to change without notice.
