New Orleans VooDoo is a team that started its first game against Philadelphia on the memorable day of February 8, 2004. The team logo consists of a skull brandishing a hat and also sunglasses. Their inauguration year saw humongous crowds attending their matches. They repaid the trust of their fans by finishing second, leaded only by the Orlando Predators (Tampa Bay Storm). In spite of all this superb performances, New Orleans VooDoo was defeated 51-40 ended their chances of gaining the ArenaBowl. After this underachievement, New Orleans was a hit in the second season.
