New York Titans Background Information
The Titans, which in the season of 2007 began playing, are a proficient lacrosse team of the League of National Lacrosse. New York Jets were originally referred to as Titans, earlier to be the name of lacrosse team. Under Adam Mueller, the head coach of franchises, the titans in their inaugural season played 4-12; George Daniel had been recognized as the president of the team of Titan's. The principal owner was the founder of the Galleon Group, Gary Rosenbach.
At the Madison Square Garden, out of eight home games, the Titans played four mathes there and the rest 4 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseumand and 3 in Maryland, during the 2007 season. At the Madison Square Garden, the players will take part in all of their home games for the 2008 season, while playing a single game at an unbiased site in Trenton at Sovereign Bank Arena. On January 6, 2007, the Titans took part in their first match in Chicago and lost in opposition to the Shamrox. Gewas Schindler initiated the scoring which was the first target and goal in the history of Titans, but Shamrox took over the match. The Titans opening win came when they defeated the Shamrox in their 3rd match and first game at home.
The Titans begin a four game stint on Saturday after a thrilling sudden death overtime victory against Buffalo Bandits on Sunday at the garden and head to Chicago to take on the Shamrox on Saturday, February 16 at 8pm at the Shears Center. Bearing into the game on Saturday, 6th in the East, the Shamrox are 1-3 and 7th in the Eastern Conference, the Titans are 2-4.
