Tennis Channel Open exists since 1986. First tournament took place at the Scottsdale Radisson Resort. From 1987 to 2005 - at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, were Andre Agassi became champion four times. For the first time in Las Vegas, Nevada, it was held from February 27 to March 5, 2006 (men's singles final: James Blake defeated Lleyton Hewitt 7-5, 2-6, 6-3) and the men's doubles was won by legendary Bob and Mike Bryan (Twin brothers Robert Charles Bryan (Bob) and Michael Carl Bryan (Mike) from 2005 to 2006, they reached an Open Era record of seven consecutive men's doubles Grand Slam finals).

The next Tennis Channel Open will be held in a traditional format: a regular 32-player, single elimination draw with 16 doubles and 16 qualifying. Approximately 45,000 spectators will see this incredible sport event throughout the two weeks of the tournament.
