Cirque du Soleil is a great performance empire founded in Baie-Saint-Paul, a city on the delta of the Gouffre River in the Province of Quebec, Canada in 1984. The particular fact about the beginnings of Cirque du Soleil is that founders of the most called for troop in the world are Guy Laliberté and Daniel Gauthier two former street performers. The circus went an extremely long way from a street show to the Big Stage, from 73 employees to currently 3,500 actors of over 40 countries, from a couple of tricks to fifteen performance programs touring every continent and annual revenue of more than $600 million USD.

KÀ is one of the greatest performances by Cirque du Soleil. This fabulous show was created and directed by Robert Lepage, a legendary Canadian playwright, actor and film director inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame. KÀ is designed more like a Vegas show than a traditional Cirque entertainment: no complicated abstract visuals so typical for other Cirque du Soleil productions but so difficult to understand.

Straight-forward, easygoing, breathtaking plot: a story about imperial twins separated at their youth, a story of conflict and love, where heroes have to come through various encounters with KÀ, the fire of the dual nature and power to destroy or create.
