David Copperfield Background Information


David Copperfield hails from New Jersey and began practicing magic at age 12. He was inducted into the Society of American Magicians and the youngest member. At age 16, Coppefield amazingly taught a course in magic at New York University and by 19 he headlined the Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1980 he played Ken in the horror film, Terror Train. He has also done other various television specials and guest spots. In 1996, he teamed up with Dean Koontz, Joyce Carol Oates and Ray Bradbury to create an anthology of fiction set in the world of magic and illusion titled, David Copperfield’s Tales of the Impossible.  more
