Angel Stadium of Anaheim is home to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The stadium has belonged to the Angels since the team moved to Los Angeles. The stadium was brought down in 1964 and renovated. It opened in the year 1966 with an increased capacity of 43,000 and then a total capacity of 45,050. In the 1970s, The Rams moved to Angel Stadium. Due to this, the capacity of the stadium was increased by 23,000 by expanding the upper and mezzanine decks and by building an elevated bank of bleachers.

The stadium has hosted number of important tournaments which include four American League Division Series, five American League Championship Series and 2002 World Series. It is also slated to host the 2010 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Angel Stadium is also very popular for hosting musical concerts of big singers like Pink Floyd, Madonna, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones. Also since the year 1990, the Angel Stadium has also been organizing the Harvest Crusades hosted by Pastor Greg Laurie. According to a contract signed in the late 1990s, the stadium will remain home to the Angels till the year 2031.
