U.S. Cellular Field is home to the 2005 World Series champion Chicago White Sox. The ballpark originally opened as new Comiskey Park, but took on its new name in early 2003, when The White Sox agreed to rename the stadium U.S. Cellular Field. Located on the Southside of Chicago, the stadium began construction in 1989, in which it was to take place right across the street of Old Comiskey Park, which stood strong for 81 years. The new stadium opened their gates in 1991, and can hold a capacity crowd of 40,615. U.S. Cellular Field has been the site of some great concerts including Bruce Springsteen and continues to be more than just a ball park.

U.S. Cellular Field has made many renovations over the course of its completion. Some of the favorite additions include the Fan Deck (a view located in center field atop the concession stands), Miller Lite Bullpen Sports Bar (a sports bar located beyond the right field fence), Rain Room (a mist for hot summer days), Pontiac FUNdamentals (an area designated in left field for kids to take part in clinics and other great activities) and the Chicagoland Plumbing Council Shower (drench yourself with this shower). So whether it be to enjoy a White Sox game or concert, U.S. Cellular Field has a something for everyone.
