It took 10 years, $63 Million, and 3 physicists’ lives but it’s finally here: THE NBA JAM VAN (here after to be referred to as simply: THE VAN). THE VAN is a new promotional tool for the NBA to spread its popularity overseas. THE VAN is a 16 metre, 18-wheel truck that transforms into 1000 square meters of basketball intensity (insert Tim Allen Grunts). THE VAN will begin its inaugural tour with five lucky European countries: Britain, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain, and offer multiple basketball activities to all who step near THE VAN. THE VAN is capable of dribbling contests on hardwood floors, slam dunk contests on adjustable basketball hoops, comparing hand/foot size with NBA greats, and TVs and videogames for those who prefer a change of venue for TV and videogames. Additionally, there will be autograph signings and photo sessions from NBA Mascots and Dance Teams. THE VAN has arrived and its orders are to give Europe the most rockin’ time ever. Unfortunately, the NBA has no set dates for THE VAN to tour the United States as of yet.
